So something came up recently where FI got an idea inserted into his head about getting married sooner to save up for our wedding. He's military and will get paid more when we get married. Anyway, that idea is ridiculous and we both know it.
We are now thinking about having a much smaller wedding which means not doing it on July 5th because that would be during the family reunion and anybody we want on his side of the family would be there. We may end up doing it sooner and not in July at all. I don't think I could leave the July board though. I like this board too much.
I didn't realize that the whole trying to figure out how to afford the wedding we had planned was stressing him out until he brought up the getting married early to afford the wedding thing and presented it to me seriously.
At this point we aren't sure what we are doing anymore. We may have to start over with a lot of the things we have planned. He's talking on the phone with his mom right now, she's giving him suggestions about wedding things but he hasn't mentioned the idea of changing the date and doing everything on a much smaller scale yet.
