Yay for moms! My brother's graduation from Duke is this weekend, so we'll be down there celebrating that along with Mother's Day. I got my mom a Kindle Fire and my brothers are signing their names on the card, too.

We are not getting my mom anything this year. She told us not to with all the wedding festivities we are all broke! So my sister and I are just going to take her and my grandmother out for a nice lunch

I got my mom a sweater. Not very exciting but I think she'll like that we have the same one.

FI and I got FMIL some nice stuff from L'Occitane, she likes their products. Do you all get your FMILs gifts too?

I was going to get my mom a bluw orchid with a spa GC, but she didn't want it. She wanted new scrubs (she is a nurse) instead. lol. So that is what I am getting her.

I got my mom a 1 hour massage and we are also getting her a kitchenaid blender which I am going to be splitting with my brother.

FI and I kind of buy our mom's gifts together. We bought them each a Swarovski crystal bracelet that resembles the one I'll be wearing for the wedding. I also bought my mom some new trivets she's been asking for. Grandma is getting a sparkly or fun necklace because she's into costume jewelry.

I'll be hosting a little brunch for the moms on Sunday (mom, FMIL, SIL, grandma). I've been scouring the Internets and pinning recipes, but I think I'll be keeping it simple because I'm poor and tired:

Egg pie or quiche
Bagels
Waffles
Croissants/danishes
Fruit with yogurt dip
Mimosas
And I'll make SIL bake her yummy mini-cupcakes for a little dessert

I think I might get my mom a GC for a facial. She just recently discovered Origins (I did too!) and got a mini facial at the makeup counter and loved it. I think she'd really enjoy a facial, especially right before the wedding.

There is a big festival here this weekend with a huge craft fair. Its kind of tradition that we go Saturday with my mom and she shows us stuff she likes. Then we go back and buy it for her! I'll also look for something for FMIL then since FI is bad at getting gifts (he forgot her birthday and I had to run out and get her something).

Sunday is my college graduation (finally - it only took me 12 years) so that's my mom's mother's day present! We are taking her out to lunch too but that's what she's been asking for for years.

My sister and I are getting my mom an edible arrangement and GC to get a mani/pedi. We pretty much stick to the same stuff, but at least we know she likes it. I have no clue about FMIL, I usually let FI figure that out.

I don't know yet, but we are going home for Mother's day so we'll be spending the weekend with her and I can't wait!!!!

She loves flowers so might get her flowers. Not sure what else- she has everything and she loves everything. Will have to think!

My mom started hosting all of our family events this past year since my grandma passed away, and she never has any matching wine glasses. I got her two sets of small wine glasses (one white and one red). I'm hoping she likes them! My mom can be a bit hard to shop for because she never tells you what she wants.

Card and taking her to dinner with my brother. We got her some Coca-Cola stuff (she's a nut for it) and she's also super hard to shop for. If she wants it, she gets it and well, we're stuck with a gift for her that she got herself last week. ha.
