Bathroom Baskets

Are you guys doing these? What are you including in them?

I'm going to hit up some garage sales today, and hoping to find two baskets (or old suitcases?) I can use. Then off to Target and the Dollar Tree to find items to fill 'em!

I'm thinking of putting in:

- Spray-on deodorant
- Safety pins
- Small sewing kit
- Tide stain remover sticks (2x basket)
- Gum & mints
- Small pair of scissors
- Nail clippers
- Vaseline, alcohol wipes, & bandaids

In the women's only:
- Tampons & pads
- Hairspray
- Bobby pins
- Clear nail polish
- Fabric glue stick (for dropped hems)

I actually think my venue provides some of these things. I have to make an appointment to meet with my coordinator anyway, so I'll ask her about it then.

I've been buying the contents little by little for the last year or so, and bought the baskets from another Knottie ($5 for both).

Both Baskets:
-Contact lens solution
-First aid kit (with band aids, alcohol pads, and gauze)
-Flosser/tooth pick combos
-Gum
-Ibuprofen
-Lint brush
-Lotion
-Mints
-Nail file
-Q-Tips
-Spray deodorant
-Tide stain pen
-Tissues
-Tums

Ladies Only:
-Bobbie pins
-Clear nail polish
-Hair elastics
-Hairspray
-Makeup remover towelettes
-Tampons, Pads, and Pantyliners

Gents Only:
-Hair gel

One smart thing I saw in a basket last weekend that I don't see on above lists is static spray. You can get it in travel sized spray bottles.

Blotting paper would also be good for the baskets.
