Garter & Cake Topper

Call me crazy, redneck, hick, or what have you but I want a camo garter for our wedding.  Anybody seen one?  Know where I could find one?  I'd also like to find a funny cake topper, but we've only seen a couple so far at Michaels.  A creative idea for that is welcome; Mike didn't like my Rock 'em and Sock 'em robots idea for the cake topper! lol  The only one we saw at Michaels that we like was with a ball and chain around the groom's leg with the bride holding the key.  The thing I don't like about cake toppers is that they'll ever get used again; they'll just sit in my china cabinet and collect dust whereas the the Rock 'em and Sock 'em robots are a game that we would then have and could play.  (I like things to be useful.  That's why our unity candle is going to be a tealight candle in a pine cone candleholder that we can decorate with in our house, which is somewhat useful.)  Anybody else going the camo garter and/or funny cake topper route?

I don't think I've seen a camo garter, but you could probably have someone make one.  You can search for cake toppers online, I've found a few that I like that I thought were pretty funny.

Have you checked ebay? I searched for Camo Garter and came up with a bunch of results here. You could also try etsy, or putting an alchemy request on etsy for a custom item.

I'm not a big fan of cake toppers either, and debated about what to do for ours. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a wedding cake and then put some plastic figurine on top though, either. I finally settled on some tiny white birds and we put them in a nest on top. I now keep it in a little dome thing in our living room where we can look at it all the time.

His last name starts with an "S" so I've thought about finding an "S" that I like and us it for the cake topper; at least I could decorate with it in the house without it looking out of place.  I saw a "S" that I liked when I was with my FI at the hardware store (sounds funny I know but there's a craft store inside of it), but I didn't buy it then; they are now sold out of the "S".  Frown  I never thought of ebay or amazon, but I avoid buying things online as much as possible.

I agree with pp, ebay is the place to look for a garter!  I think you could find a cake topper there too.
