Dollar Tree?

Ok I plan on having a candy bar and went to the dollar tree website and saw that they have all kinds of vases (with me making my own centerpieces) and glass candle holders, plus I saw some glass beer mugs here that we got and plan to have engraved as part of the Groomsmen gifts. What do you think?

I know those cylinder vases are on the short side, maybe 6 inchs or so. They also have them in the store so maybe you should go in and look at them before you order to make sure its what you want.

I got my candy buffet vases from Michael's using the 40% off coupons. You can only buy one per visit but you will save about $5-12 per vase depending on the kind you buy. I purchased all sizes so I paid different prices for them. Sign up for their weekly emails and you will get a weekly coupon, once you make a purchase you get a coupon with your receipt so you and your FI can buy 2 vases a week.

We did the beer mugs from dollar tree and got them engraved for the groomsmen too. They are GREAT and very heavy - great quality.  I brought mine in the store so i didn't have to worry about shipping.  We brought extra for our house too.

The cylinder vases are pretty short (thought I had a picture, but I can't find one. sorry) I used them on the ends of my long tables with my tall centerpieces from the florist in the center.

You don't even need to worry about just the weekly email. This blog posts them weekly (or you can just go to the website and print them out too). And pissssh on weekly honey! I went to Michael's EVERY.day. And used a coupon every.time.I.went! haha

I used several items from Dollar Tree:  I used the cylinder vases for my centerpieces.  They are about 7 1/2 inches tall and about 3 1/2 inches round (HTH).  I also used the glass stones that they sell for the bottom of the vases.  I wouldn't advise ordering the stones from the web site because the shade of blue varies even though all the bags had Sky Blue for the color.  As for the mugs - they are very heavy and we have about two or three of them in the house.  They are a great buy for $1 a piece!  As soon as I get a chance to post pics from the reception I will so it'll give you an idea of the size of the vases.  They were perfect for me because I didn't want any tall centerpieces.

I am using the cylinder vases for my centerpieces and I am thinking about getting the square shaped vases also.
