Who did/are you going with? We're getting married on Topsail Island and haven't seen or heard of my photographers down that way.

I got married at Topsail in May. We used Ball N Chain Photography out of Raleigh but they travedl to the beach for us. They were amazing!!

I would check out Three Daughters and A Wedding. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! It's a father daughter team and they work great to make your wedding perfect! Make sure you check out the gallery Chrystal's dress. They just got back from taking her bridal pictures at Wrightsville Beach, NC. They did an amazing job on both my sister's wedding and my brother's!:)

If you go with this photographer, you will not be disappointed!!

He is located in Raleigh, but travels all over the country!

Pirategal03, I'm not sure why it's just a big deal why I recommend a photographer and you act this way! II found this website when my sister was planing her wedding. The boards helped us so much and we got lots of cool ideas! I'm hear to see what other brides are doing and to get ideas for my wedding.

My wedding:
Date - June 2012, thinking June 16, but have not settled for sure.

Theme - county! Both my Man and I are both really southern, of course!

Weeding party - Bridesmaids pink knee length dresses from DB with short cowboy boots. Groomsmen and groom, brown suits with pink ties and cowboy boots. Flower girl brown knee length dress with a pink sash and cowboy boots. Ring Bearer, brow suit with pink tie, also wearing cowboy boots. Me, princess style dress with cowboy boots, OF COURSE!:)

Flowers - guys have pink roses. Girls have brown flowers, still deciding on what kind. Me, pink roses.

Guessbook - having a photo book for guest to sign

Afternoon wedding, 2:00pm. Church wedding with outside reception.

That is all I'm saying about my wedding.

I'm interested because up until today you had 14 posts, they were either very professional sounding photography advice, or recommendations for one particular photographer and mentions of "your sibling's" weddings. Usually, that indicates that the poster is that photographer. And vendors aren't allowed on the boards.

I thought that instead of asking if you're a vendor, I'd ask what brought you here and about your wedding. I like when new people post here, as long as they're legit. Most legit people ask questions or participate in posts about more than one subject. I'm not calling you a vendor, I'm saying you've made my eyebrows raise and I didn't want to jump to a conclusion.

I can understand that!:) I'm not the photographer, I am related to the photographer. But I thought since I was not the photographer, then it would be ok to post about them. If not, then I'm sorry! And the stuff about my wedding is true, I'm legit!:)

And, my sister got married May 30, 2009 and my brother got married on September 5, 2009.

I am using JJ Horton for my september 24 wedding. She is out of charlotte, but does travel to the coast for weddings (mine is in Wilmington). She's still fairly new to wedding photography, so her prices match that.

I loved my engagement pics, so I think she is definitely worth checking out for a Topsail wedding.

Actually, that's how I found her. She was selling some stuff from her wedding and I got connected to her blog. So far, she has been great, and super sweet.
