I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!

Mine was kinda boring...I worked and hung out with Clyde all weekend...I watched Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 3 times...haha...and did no homework...oops!! haha

What is on everyone's To Do lists??

This week, I have practical, presentation & final exam on top of working....On Wednesday I have my first dress fitting!!! & I'm so excited my brother is in town!! He gets to go with me!! He's adorable!! I'll have a few pics possibly for you!!

ugh i can't believe it is monday already - the weekend flew by! i am really jealous of everyone who has president's day off - i am in the office, and i need to be productive, but so far that hasn't happened!!

NWR i have two summary judgment motions and a medical malpractice submission to do this week....then on friday, i have to travel for a hearing that is 4 hours away from my apartment...i have to leave my apartment at 4am to get there in time! i am ABSOLUTELY DREADING IT!

WR fiance and i are starting to write our invitation wording - we put the deposit down on them last week and have them designed with our etsy designer, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out!

we also are planning to finish up our registries this week - there is a bunch of stuff we haven't added to them yet!

we also need to finalize our menu for the rehearsal dinner and finalize details for our morning after brunch.

we also need to order some submersible lights and some table beads for our centerpieces.

seems like it is a lot of little stuff to work on this week!

I have the day off, thank god!! Packed a lot over the weekend.

We need to start selecting what music to play for certain dances and I'm not looking forward to doing that.

I hope to start working out again today- I was out for a few days with an injured back and knee. My knee still bothers me but I'm going to see if it will be ok if I run today!

WR- order our cake cutter set, work on making our corrections to the first draft we have of our ceremony, email our rehearsal dinner place to figure out when they need anything from us, and perhaps start looking for a bridal shower dress

NWR- get a birthday gift for my dad, dinner and maybe a bonfire at one of FI's GM's house this weekend, JOB SEARCH!!!!! (super important since it's holding us back from being able to go forward with our house-buying process

WR: Need to submit my fav e-pics to our photographer for our guest book.
NWR: FI and I are going on vacation weds-sun to Spain! He has some family there that we're going to visit, but we're also going to spend a night away to ourselves on the northern coast at a B&B. I'm beyond excited!!

I called in sick today, as I've been feeling bad all week and I need some rest to get it over with. This weekend we had a really nice surprise. We went to see the inlaws, and they decided to give us a pretty large sum of money for the wedding. We were definitely not expecting that.

WR: A friend who is designing our invitations is coming over tonight to show us some sketches, and I'm really curious to see what she's come up with so far! I also plan to finalize some catering stuff.

NWR: I don't even want to think about it. Work stuff. Yuck.

A very happy monday for me. I'm on vacation this week! I love working at a school!

Plans for this week

WR: Pretty much a lot of little stuff, since we'll be home (my mom and one of my BM work in schools too). So a lot of driving to various stores, thinking about all the little things that need to be done. Hopefully deciding this cake thing by the end of the week. Picking up the invites, starting tears of joy packets, calling the store to see if my veil will ever get here. Hopefully making an apointment for tuxes, possibly ordering/working on BM gifts. Friday we are going to lunch at the restaurant my shower will be at to try the food, and then going to get our hair done and hopefully booking that woman for the wedding.

NWR: Relaxing! I love vacation!

I just want to say that FI has been an absolute sweetheart for the past two weeks. I don't know what's gotten into him - but he's back to being like how he was when we first starting dating - totally over-the-top attentive. He went shopping for shoes with me for over 6 hours total this weekend. now that's dedication. <3

BrightFirefly; thats adorable! Did he help pick any out? The 2 pairs of shoes my FI bought me as surprises are the ones I get the most compliments on.

I probably need to focus more on school and less on wedding planning this week, but thats no fun.

NWR: I have an exam tomorrow, but its my favorite class. I also have to start working on catching up in other classes and write 2 papers. Midterms are next week. oh joy.

WR: the only things on the list this week are finalizing the contract for the videographer, and booking the rehearsal dinner. FI finally called the other person he wanted to be an usher this weekend. We decided this in like, october, and other people told him about it before he asked, and FI just kept forgetting. But this time i reminded him, he actually got up and called him right then.

Actually - the pair he picked out - is the pair I ended up getting (which was the first pair we considered any store - but OF COURSE - we had to look at like 8 other stores before selecting the very first pair we saw).

FI's style is much better than mine. He always looks put together - I never do.

As far as alterations go, I'm probably just getting mine done super early - but I don't expect to change weights much - so I'm not concerned. I just need to shortened and the straps shortened - and a bustle. I'd rather just get it out of the way now.

NWR: FI finally went to look at a place I was interested in buying. I guess he liked it too so we need to get ball rolling on that. I don't want to moving a month before the wedding. Poor FI's new car is taking much more work and money to get going than he anticipated. He feels horrible for buying a crap car, but he's spending a lot of time with my dad fixing it. I have no issues with that. I have to keep a close eye on the cat this week. She was declawed and spayed on Friday. She keeps getting up on things and the vet doesn't want her to jump down onto her paws. That's been a hassle keeping her low to the ground.

WR: I went to a cake testing over the weekend and booked them. They were going to send me an invoice by e-mail, but I still haven't seen anything. I'll have to call them tomorrow. I'm still on the hunt for a DJ also. I'll be ordering everything for the centerpieces sometime this week. I have a lot of small odds and ends stuff to do as well. FMIL needs the invitation envelopes and calligraphy pens so she can start addressing them for me. My writing is horrible.

Ugh is tax season over yet? I swear if I don't fire or kill my interns before the end it should be a miracle!!

NWR - Cleaning up the disaster that my interns somehow create, must be a combo of the phone and not giving two sh*ts about their work. We looked at a house on Sunday that we liked but I have no clue what we are going to do about it, trying to talk to my boss about it. Working a ton of hours and getting my homework done timely are the only things I have time for at the moment.

WR - Well I might be having a meeting with my venue on Sunday but I'm not sure what the house situation will do to that. If not, probably working on my DIY projects.

WR: I have a whole list I'd like to get done this week: Call and book the DJ, call and confirm menu with the reception site, inquire about catering and rentals for a Sunday Brunch the next day, keep collecting addresses for invitations, find envelopes for the invitatiosn (We made all the invites this past weekend, but didn't get envelopes). That's all I can think of for now, but I'm sure there will be more.

NWR: I'm off work this week recovering from surgery so I'll be relaxing. Went for a manicure today and will probably do some scrapbooking the rest of the week. I also have tickets to go see CATS with my mom and grandma this weekend!
