NWR: Crappy two weeks

So, we finally got buyer #2 on my house to come to a price point that worked for us (although, we would be losing a little bit at closing). Well, thanks to two low ball acceptances in my neighborhood in July, the appraisal came back $13K less than what it was with buyer #1 in May (who had pulled out three days before close). Therefore, the mortgage company will not approval the buyer's mortgage and we now have to come up with an extra $4K at close (i.e. by next Friday). UGH!

But the big kicker is that I have to have surgery on Monday. During a recent biopsy (I've had several within the last year-and-a-half), my doctor found very aggressive pre-cancerous cells and said that there is no way I can wait until after the wedding because of how advanced they are (a second opinion from another doctor yesterday backed that up). I am so grateful that my doctor is top-notch and on the ball, but I am terrified of the surgery and stressed out that this is happening two months before my wedding and four days before my bachelorette weekend. I'm trying to be positive, but it has had me down for the last week or so.

Thanks for the vent...I feel better already. Anyways, Knottie vibes would be great, thanks! :)
