Rehearsal dinner outfit - PIP

I had planned on wearing a dress that I already own but have not worn yet it is a brown dress.  Well FI had plans to buy something new for the dinner- he bought a black and grey sweater and grey slacks. Well I used this as an excuse to buy a new dress and I am in love with it!! I also bought new black snake skin peep toe pumps.



And here is a picture of FI's and my rings because I never made them into a siggy!!

    Pretty!!!  I am using the RD as a chance to buy myself something fun and new.  There are a handful of dresses from BHLDN's party line that I'm dying to hang in my closet.

    Would love to see the shoes if you get a chance!

    Very nice! I unfortunatley can't bring myself to spend money on a new dress considering I have 1-2 dresees haging in my closet that have never been worn, and several others that have only been worn once. Your rings are beautful as well :)

    when I was shoppnig for a new dress for my shower I was torn between two.  so, I got both and wore one to my shower and will be wearing one to the RD.


    Glad to see someone else who is not wearing white to the RD.  My dress is orange, haha.  it's knee length and lace and it is t-shirt cut (short sleeve, high neckline).  my dad said it wasn't "churchy" enough.  haha, whatever dad :p

    Fun!  I was going to wear an old dress too, but then I happened to find a girl selling her reception dress/getting into the limo dress on Craigslist and bought it for less than half she paid.

    Love your dress and rings. I too am NOT wearing white. I'm wearing black. I'm superstitious and you're not supposed to wear white for the rehearsal...its bad luck!! I haven't worn white to any wedding related events!

    Thanks I love my dress and now I will have a black dress to wear out to nice dinners and such.  I am not good at wearing white i spill everything on it!  So I didn't want to wear it to any other wedding related events besides the big day!

    Jenna- I will post pictures of the shoes tomorrow, they are from Fergie's Fergaliicious line and I love them too!

    I totally used the RD, brunch and shower-ette as excuses to buy new dresses.  My MIL shared her Macy's coupons to help me out so I ended up getting 3 dresses for $100!!!  I'm super stoked about my RD dress which is a deep purple with nude polka dots and looks awesome!  :-)

    I didn't know that wearing white at the rehearsal was bad luck!  Oh well.  I love the dress and I'll wear a bright necklace or something!  :)

    I'm wearing a magenta Trina Turk shift dress (that I found on Gilt for 1/3 of the retail price). What I love most is the classic cut and boucle material - I'll be able to wear this dress for years to come. I have to dress up often for work dinners, events, etc. so this will transition nicely into that!
