Honeymoon help!!

My fiancé and I are getting married in July and we are having a hard time deciding on where to go for our honeymoon. We don't want to spend a lot of money so we were thinking something like California or Florida. We are both 23 so we like nightlife, and to sight see but want a beach for some relaxation. Any ideas?

    Well, in Florida you can pretty much do beautiful beaches anywhere so it depends what else you want to do. There's plenty of nightlife in Miami and Ft.Lauderdale. There's also nightlife in Key West, which will also give you plenty of sightseeing and activities. It feels like being in the Caribbean. Though Miami feels like a different country too lol. There are also cruises from Florida, short ones if you're on a budget, from Tampa, Cape Canaveral (not too far from Orlando), Miami. I've been to California but I didn't really get to experience nightlife as it was a family trip, but the coastline is beautiful and there's plenty to see.

    We spent 2 weeks driving down the Pacific Coast Hwy for our honeymoon in September 2011. It's lovely. We are not nightlife people, but the weather in CA in July is probably a lot nicer, less humid, and hurricane-free.

    If you like nightlife I'd recommend the LA-Malibu area. We didn't go to clubs, but it's probably nice. San Fran is nice too but not as warm & beachy as LA. San Diego probably has nice night life, but again we didn't do it.

    I think Miami has a better "night life" vibe..........I'd recommend going to www.tripadvisor.com and looking into both FL & CA for things that interest. These are reviews written by real people. Also, join www.budgettravel.com, it's free, and you can search for things that might interest you there once you register.
