Updates (PIP)

I hadn't posted anything about my wedding in a while, so I thought I would update you ladies on everything that's going on...

We booked our DJ/Officiant a few months back. We decided to go with Rob Sword. He's such a fun guy and gets such rave reviews!!  :)

We also just booked our photographer. We went with Neil Shannon Photography. His work is so amazing!!

I also had a fabulous fellow knottie offer to make some mock invitations. I can't wait to see what she's capable of..

My wedding jewelry was bought a couple of days ago. My parents actually bought it as my Christmas gift. It should be here in about a month. Here are the pictures!  :)

My Earrings

My necklace

On another note, my planning as been fairly smooth sailing. No real drama or issues yet.. Until recently.. LoL..

Apparently, my MOH is now pregnant and due the WEEK BEFORE my wedding. She already had her dress and everything.. Having had many people in my family have babies, I know how difficult it would be for her to travel with a week old infant or 9 months pregnant (if she's not delivered by my wedding), so I dont expect her to make it any longer. She thinks otherwise. She thinks she'll leave a week old off with family and come down for a week vacation and my wedding... Really??   I need advice or opinions. Should I find a new MOH? Or wait and see??

P.S.- I added some DIY stuff to my bio under DIY Decor... I added the pics of the flowers and the candy table letters. Not much but, it's a start.

Congrats on the wedding planning progress!

If it were me, I'd make other arrangements for a MOH.  I just wouldn't want my close friend pushing herself physically either right after she has the baby or right before.  If anything happened to her, I'd feel terrible.  If she insists that she will still be able to be in the wedding, then just have a back-up plan in mind in case she's unable to travel at the last minute.

Not to push her aside, but what pp said, find a plan b or not have a MOH. I don't know how big your wp is, but if mine wouldn't make it, I wouldn't have anyone and I would be ok with that.

The Jewelry is beautiful. I would let your MOH decide what she wants to do, but I would come up with plan B or not have an MOH.

Let her know you are okay with what ever she decides is best for her and the baby.

My MOH just found out she's expecting. We have lots of time left until the wedding, but she lives in Australia. So, I doubt she'll want to/be able to travel with a baby. It's a 16 hour flight! I've picked a new MOH and she understands.

On a side note, can you give me a range of pricing for Neil and Shannon? They seem amazing and I don't want to set up an appointment etc. if it's not something I can afford. =O)

    Thanks!!
    Janine
