Awhile ago FI told me that he thinks having "online knottie" friends is wierd until I reminded him that we met on match.com and that the girls I've met from NEY are actually super cool in person and online.... just like him. That shut him up. :)

    LOL Liv, my BF is the same way. But I am sincerely debating having a knottie G2G in chicago next summer (figure that gives people time to save moneys) - there are several knotties that aren't THAT far for a weekend getaway - 

    BF thinks that my TK girls are a little weird...but then I remind him that you ladies help keep me sane, and not killing or going BSC on him in many ways - then he is okay with it lmfao.

    Danish man has taken you all for granted that you are my friends.  He actually got to meet MidniteRae when she came to visit in my hood.  Hahaha he even offered to help me find a way to fly out to SunBird when he heard all the troubles she had run into even though I have never met Sunbird in real life.  I think for him he has just accepted that I have random friends everywhere!

    Liv- I would LOVE to come out to Boston in the next year or two...or you can come visit Colorado, you know...it is FREAKING gorgeous! I <3 it here.

    Andrew and I are meeting with a relator on Thursday to start seriously start looking at houses!! SQUEE!!

    We might be in a house by Christmas! Wow!

    I can't wait to settle in- decorate a guest room and then beeegggg you girls to come!!

    I don't think BF really gets it to be honest lol.  I explained what NEY is & how we don't even usually talk WR things & I tell him about those BSC situations that pop up every now & then & he kind of just looks at me like 'oh ok cool' hahaha 


    PS We should plan a Boston + NYC G2G!!

    FI didn't think you were actually real. When I was going to meet peek and marley, he said, "They're probably killers." And was freaking out. Then he met them, and thought they were cool. Now he gets it a bit better.

    It doesn't even phase my DH anymore...he knows most of the girls I'm closest to from her by name. Hell, I have hetsh, ana, rickylee and Mutley framed on my wall. LOL

    I've got a few framed from the wedding, and I've got a pic of Mutley, Rickylee and I at my bridal shower on another wall.

    People can think/assume what they want based on what they read and how they interpret it, but there are some seriously amazing girls on this board, past and present. :)

    I AWed a few pics from friends/family right after the wedding, but I just finally went through our pro pics. I'll hopefully have a married bio up sometime this week...

    BF has lots of online friends from playing various games, so now that he knows it's just a forum for like-minded women, he's ok. I've told him enough stories now that he knows we don't just sit on here planning our weddings and bitching about being NEY. Wink

    This.  FI was wary of me posting on a wedding site before we got engaged, but I started reading him some of the threads, most of which had nothing to do with weddings, and he realized that I wasn't going all BSC.

    And of course now that we've been engaged for almost a year, he thought it was weird that I was doing a GTG with girls from the NEY board, but I had to remind him that just because I have a ring on my finger, I didn't just all of a sudden stop enjoying the random stuff posted on here. :-D
