Small Wedding

Hi! We are planning a wedding for the spring (date unplanned, but shooting for early May.) We are planning on having our selves and IMMEDIATE families attend (with a larger reception for friends and family later.) This is a grand total of 19 people including ourselves. WE NEED A VENUE! We are trying to find a "package deal" at a bed and breakfast or small venue. We would prefer a pkg that includes as much as possible. We believe that even though we are having a small wedding, it should still be PERFECT and romantic. We live halfway b/t Houston and Austin, so we are hoping for a location in the surrounding area, but would be willing to travel . Any suggestions? Thanks a whole bunch!

My fiance and I live on the West side of Houston and we looked into a few places in your area (because it's so beautiful!). We decided to stay closer to home to make planning easier. Here are some that we came across:

    -Ann Street Inn in Brenham
    -Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham
    -Giddings Stone Mansion in Brenham
-Lillian Farms Bed & Breakfast in Chappel Hill
    -Astin Mansion in Bryan
    -Liendo Plantation in Waller
-Mimi's Bed and Breakfast in Schulenburg
    -Blue Hills in Round Top
-Washington-on-the-Brazos - they have 2 reception halls (small and large) and you can get married in a beautiful natural area or in front of one of the historic structures.

There are a lot of other places in your area that were too small for our wedding of 50-60 people. For more bed and breakfasts check out the Texas Bed and Breakfast Association website.
