Re: What will you do with your dress (poll)

  • My dress is pretty casual, beachy, and unique. I'm also painting leaf and wildflower designs on it, so I'm pretty sure I can wear it out whenever I want after the wedding and it would just look like a hippyish linen sundress. That was kind of my idea when I choset it, I couldn't really justify buying an expensive elaborate dress that I could only really wear once. But that's just me!
  • I guess I'll save it, I hadn't really thought about it. Since it may not be a long time before my daughter gets married (if she doesn't do things the way I did...lol) maybe she could use it in a few years.
  • i really dont need to be lugging my wedding dress around, so i'll be selling mine.
there wont be anyone to pass it down to, so i see no reason to have it hanging around.
  • I honestly have no clue what I will do with mine. I like the idea of dying it and shortening it to wear again and again but I dont wear dresses so thats out of the question. I will probably just save it and let it take up closet space (just like my prom dress). I am petite (5 foot, 5'3" when I have my wedding heels on) so I dont know if selling it will be useful to anyone lol. I am also very sentimental to trashing or cutting it seems impossible for me to do. So I guess saving it is the only option that I am comfortable with.

  • I'm torn, because I have two dresses.  I will either sell them both, or sell one and donate the other.  I'm not sure.
