Congrats!  Everyone here will be lots of help, but we need to know what area you are looking to get married in?  Dade, Broward, or West Palm?

FROM CENTRAL BROWARD DOWN TO COCONUT GROVE.
    NOTHING FARTHER THAN THE GROVE.

    Congrats and welcome!

I'm not familiar with those areas either, but just wait, Miami knotties will come to the rescue :)

I am no help, but with that price point you will probably need to get chiavari chairs from an outside vendor.  It is about $4 a chair.  Good luck!

    Hello and congrats..

I live in Miami and Im going to be very honest... for $50.00 per person its going to be hard to find a place with the chairs...

Are you looking for a Resturant, hotel, ballroom?

A Saturday day wedding or at night on a Friday or Sunday will probably be the best way to get the price you are looking for.

Like other knotties have said, it will be tough to be in that price range with chairs.  you may have to go the banquet hall route, I had my wedding at Doral Reception Hall, it is a very modern looking room and everyone really liked it.  They have packages in your price range.

you may also want to check out:   Grand Salon at Killiam Park Country Club, or a restaurant.  Villagio at Merrick Park has a group menu thats around $25 a person, you wouldnt be able to have dancing though.

That price with chairs included is hard to find but try calling around EVERYWHERE and go to websites too...

    Good luck!

Hi!  I'm new here also!  My wedding is March 5, 2011.

I thought I wouldn't be able to get everything I wanted on my budget ($18,000).  I got very discouraged from months of searching.  Then I got lucky while searching online one day I found a planner that does beautiful work and has many packages to choose from.  Her packages start at $40 per person I believe.  That includes the chiavari chairs, catering, dinnerware, centerpieces... pretty much everything you need for a wedding excluding photographer and invitations.

She also found us an amazing location we would have never found ourselves.

    Here's her website:

Congrats!! Where will your ceremony be?

My reception package is under $50 per person (including tax and tip), but I get to buy my own alcohol so I will be saving a lot. Included is a beautiful ballroom with chiavari chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, servers, bartenders, hors d'oeuvres, salad, a meal, and coffee. It's at the Crystal Ballroom of St. Raymond in Miami (just north of the Grove), and I just love the venue and the privacy of the location. http://www.dblanceventsgroup.com

Just thought of one.. bestmiamiweddings.com.  If you use one of their buildings, they have high ceilings, it is about $40/person if you have 100.  From what I remember, it included some centerpieces and other items.
