Short hair brides: Where are you?

I feel so alone!!! Everyone talks about their updos, half updos, long, flowing locks! My hair is a shortish bob, longer in the front, shorter in the back. Anyone have and ideas/pics of what to do for the wedding? I'm not wearing a veil (2nd wedding here) but want to look chic and elegant. Help!

I am in the exact same boat!!! No veil either, but I think I am doing a headband. I don't really have any pics, but just ideas in my head.

i have the same haircut, the front is currently an inch below my ears, I'm growing it to my chin in the front, slow process but it's my dream haircut. anyway. i grew it out from a faux hawk and I can't see having hair any longer then chin legnth ever, so I'm looking for cute looks too. I'm thinking flowers or a bird cage, or vintage waves... or all three?

I hear ya!

I got married last weekend and was telling my stylist: the worst part about short hair is that every wedding magazine, website etc. shows long hair in these beautiful up-do's. Not every bride has long hair!

While I don't have photos yet, I just wore my hair in my normal style, and had some cute pearl/CZ hair combs (they were tiny combs, with 2-3 prongs). I just didn't look right in a veil...regardless of how short or long it was.

I say look at short hair styles you like and talk with your stylist. That is exactly what I did. We found something a little different, cut my hair that way in advance (like 6 weeks in advance), trimmed it about 2 weeks before, and it was perfect!

okay i hope i can express what i see in my head. blow it out all back tease the front to give it some body and make it sleak. Maybe a hair comb at the crown of it. if you want a little more funk do a small braid on the sides right above the ears and then sleek it back on the top

My hair is a little shorter than the Smallville girl, but I am trying to grow it out more evenly --currently very layered. I am planning on loose curls with a pretty headband. My MOH has short hair too and she will probably have a side clip with a flower.

I have an angled bob (Posh Spice style). I am doing mine myself by washing, conditioning, mousse, blow-dry with round brush, velcro rollers, then shining spray. So, just a lot more volume and glamour than usual.

Then, I'm wearing it with a headband, which is a large white feather with an ornament at the base. I bought it on Etsy.

I also tried a headband with it poofed up and pulled into a loose small chignon style thing at the back, that looks good too, but I decided I wanted to wear it down.
