  We are actually doing 2 sessions, only because we won a free one last year for 30 mins, and I just wanted a photo for save the dates.  Our theme flower is sunflowers and there are sunflower fields by us, and voila we had simple pics to use for the STD.  It was short and suited its purpose, but we didn't really mesh with the photographer that well and the pics weren't amazing, but hey, it was free!
  
  So when we went to book our photographer, all of their packages come with "get to know you " sessions that she basically makes required so they can meet you, take pictures and be better prepared for the big day by knowing your style.  Sooo we will be doing two after all.  Ours is looking like it may be at the end of April or into May so far.
  
  I love the disneyland session idea, sounds so fun!!  Please please post pics once you get them!!

  Aww that sounds like a ton of fun! I'm excited to see them.
  
  We haven't done ours yet because 1. we don't have a photographer yet and 2. the weather around here is ridiculous right now. I'm guessing you all heard about the Harrisburg, Illinois tornado. That's about a 30 minute drive from my house. We're supposed to get more storms again today so obviously the weather has not been kind enough to let us do pictures yet. However, we did have pictures taken on the cruise we were on in January that we've been using until we get more taken.

  We actually would not have gotten ours done so soon (or possibly at all) but for the fact that we won a giveaway for a free e-session with this photographer. OMG I can't wait to see them. I am sorry ladies. I am driving myself nuts with anticipation. I don't want to annoy my friends and family with my gushing so I figured I could gush safely here for now.

  Exciting!  Post some when you get them back. 
  
  We are planning to do our shoot in the summer when it's warmer -- at a local park that has some cute log cabins, big willow trees, and is right near the water.  We might bring our dogs too :P

  </div><div>Both great ideas! I wish it had been warmer on the day of our shoot. It was high 50's when the sun was out and low 40's after it went down... brrrr!!! I was getting a lot of dirty looks from other Disney-goers due to my outfits (which were nothing scandalous by the way; I was just wearing dresses, heels, and nice tops for the pics and not for normal Disney-going). We brought our dog with us and our photographer was more than happy to take some shots of her and us. :)
