TK seems hungry today... ugh.  It ate this post that I posted earlier this morning, but bye going through my post history I found it:

So way back when (6+ months ago, lol) I used to post a 20 Question thread every Wednesday, it has been long enough I thought I could do another one :)

    122. Hit the 4 month mark yesterday!

    2)  What are your colors?
    Ivories, whites, nudes, etc, with a hint of purple. This may change

    3)  What is your theme?
    Elegant-laid back?

    4)  Wedding Dress?  Inspiration or the actual dress

    5)  Bridesmaid Dresses?  Inspiration or the actual dresses 
    No bridesmaids here! I'm having a Man of Honor/Bridesman (he hasn't picked which one he wants yet). He's wearing the same thing as the groom and the groomsmen:

    6)  What are you doing for your Rehearsal Dinner?
    Probably Novilhos (Brazilian steakhouse in Bellevue) to "honor my heritage" (aka, excuse to eat a lot of meat) :)

    7)  Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    We want to go to Hawaii!

    8)  What are you expecting for your Bridal Shower(s)? (themes, types of games, etc)
    None here.

    9) What are you expecting for your Bachelorette party?
    None here

    10)  What is your venue like?
    It's a winery, so lots of wine barrels :)

    11)  How much time are you taking off of work for your wedding/honeymoon?
    ~2 weeks for the honeymoon, probably one or two days before the wedding

    12)  What does your engagement ring look like?
    Solitaire diamond in white gold setting

    13)  What does your wedding band look like?
    White gold with little diamonds that I got from my mom

    14) What does your FI's ring look like?
    It looks kinda like this:

    We're giving away a traditional Brazilian wedding favor (bem casados) which are a cookie with a caramel filing.

    16)  Are you having a guestbook or guestbook alternative?
    I want to have a guestbook. We'll see.

    17)  What are your cake (or other type of dessert) flavors?  
    Haven't picked it out yet! Jeez, this list is making me feel like I'm behind!

    18) What type of flowers do you want?
    I love hydrangeas, and want those. I also like peonies and dahlias.

    19)  What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning?
    Most of the stress is over. But two things that bug me is how much money we're spending (I feel like we could probably be spending less with some vendors, but we're not hagglers), and the fact that we have so many OOT guests, from SO far away, and they're spending so much money to come. It makes me feel a little guilty knowing I won't spend nearly enough time with them to show my appreciation for their visit.

    20)  What are you enjoying the most with wedding planning?
    Seeing how resolute and determined Fi is about getting married. I've had a couple of missteps (thinking we should wait until summer of 2013, but he's so determined to do this ASAP! :)

    Um no games really, I think it is more country theme. Which is kinda my wedding theme.

    It is just going to be a a day out, dinner, drinks, casino

    Annie wright school courtyard, backup is their chapel

    11)  How much time are you taking off of work for your wedding/honeymoon?
    3 days prior. I have a 10 day vacation around the holidays, but our HM is going to be around 2 weeks

    I don't know yet!

    A pair of silver chopsticks wrapped in my color ribbons and candy buffet

    16)  Are you having a guestbook or guestbook alternative?
    A scrap type guest book, maybe a polaroid camera so they can put a picture in there as well?

    17)  What are your cake (or other type of dessert) flavors? 
    The dinner has 4 desserts- a mousse, a cheesecake, brownie and carrot cake?

    Wild flowers from Pike Place

    19)  What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning?
    Family. Trying to make everyone happy...

    64 days - We hit the 2 month mark this weekend.

    4 days prior to the wedding and 5 days over Labor day for the honeymoon.

    5 diamonds came as a set with the ring.

    Tungsten carbide ring black and silver.

    Making photo coasters of various landmarks around Seattle.  85% guests are from out of state.

    16)  Are you having a guestbook or guestbook alternative?
    We are having a book made up from our e-photos with questions for guests to sign.   Also will have a Instant camera for guests to take their picture and leave us a note.

    17)  What are your cake (or other type of dessert) flavors? 
    Street donuts (we love mobile food trucks).   We are also doing a popcorn bar from KuKuRuZa .

    18) What type of flowers do you want?
    Seasonal, gardeny.

    19)  What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning?
    Putting the planning on hold as we bought a house and then having to scale some things back due to unseen expenses with the house.

    20)  What are you enjoying the most with wedding planning?
    Coming up with creative ideas unforutnately I won't be able to execute on all of them.

    sparent: I love Novilhos! Basically the first thing Fi (who is not Brazilian) said once we started planning the wedding (and maybe before) was that we should have our rehearsal dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse. Don't mind it at all! Your honeymoon location sounds amazeballs.

    59 days!!!

    2)  What are your colors?
       
    Blue and orange, these are the bouquets I made

    3)  What is your theme?
    Semi-formal, with a southern undertone

    4)  Wedding Dress?  Inspiration or the actual dress

    It sounds like it might be semi-formal. Not sure about a theme or games, but I know they chose an excellent Champagne :) It will be June 24th

    Bowling at a 21+ venue, and then a comedy show. I am really excited! It will be July 14th

    Since I sell partylite, I am just handing out tealights wrapped in tulle with a note that says "Each time this candle lights up the room, say a prayer for the bride and groom"

    17)  What are your cake (or other type of dessert) flavors?  
    For the display cake, the bottom 2 tiers are fake, and top tier to cut is chocolate with rasperberry layer. The cake we will serve to all guests will be Tres Leches with different layer flavors. 

    18) What type of flowers do you want?
    I will be just getting mixed bouquets from Pike Place. 

    19)  What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning?
    MONEY!!!

    Getting closer and closer ot being MR and MRS!

    19)  What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning? Getting everything done fast enough. I always panic about my favorite vendors being booked. 

    20)  What are you enjoying the most with wedding planning? All the decorating! I love throwing parties, interior design, etc. so planning all the decorations is really fun for me.

    17)  What are your cake (or other type of dessert) flavors?  We are using Sharon's cakes (love her!) and have white/raspberry and marble.

    18) What type of flowers do you want? - we are having all ivory roses and peonies - using Kendra at Loves me Flowers (love her too!)

    19)  What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning? - all the little details and making sure they all come together and all vendors show up on the wedding day

    Only 21 days! June 23rd :)

    2) What are your colors?
    Black and white.

    3) What is your theme?
    We are doing an "international" theme, since we love to travel. We are having every table named/decorated after a country that we have spent time in! Hence, the black and white as the main colors, so nothing clashes! :)

    4) Wedding Dress? Inspiration or the actual dress

     

    Simple, clean lines. So very me! And, uh, look at the back!! Plus, it was fairly priced :)

    5) Bridesmaid Dresses? Inspiration or the actual dresses

    No picture that I can find, but my Maid of honor is wearing a black strapless dress, with a white flower pattern that goes across the middle-left side of her dress :-) I'm not having any other bridesmaids.

    6) What are you doing for your Rehearsal Dinner?

    We are renting out the middle room at Joey's Southcenter! And I'm really excited...my mom's pen pal of 30 something years and her daughter are flying over from London...my mom has no idea and we're going to "unveil" them at the dinner! Gonna be so fun watching my mom freak out!!

    7) Where are you going for your honeymoon?

    Right now we are going on a "phony-moon" to Vegas for a few days, but early next spring we are planning on doing a big Round The World type trip when our money situation is improved after the wedding ;)

    8) What are you expecting for your Bridal Shower(s)? (themes, types of games, etc)

    My bridal shower was french theme, black white and pink colors! It was really fun :-)

    9) What are you expecting for your Bachelorette party?

    Me and some of my girls are going to Salish Lodge to drink and gamble the night away :)

    10) What is your venue like?

     

    Lake Union Crew! We love the giant dock....we got engaged on a dock at Alki beach so I loved bringing that idea into the ceremony too! :)

    11) How much time are you taking off of work for your wedding/honeymoon?

    Only a week and a half :( But, still plenty of time to see everybody while they're here, and go to Vegas :)

    12) What does your engagement ring look like?


     

    Hard to see, but its a simple clean ring, that was a heirloom from my fiance's grandmother :):) Its the kind where the diamond kind of "floats" in the middle, so you can see the entire shape of the stone :)

    13) What does your wedding band look like?


     

    I love my engagement ring so much (and its been in the family for a while) that I elected to just get a "wrap" for it. The picture doesn't show it, but there are diamonds on the *sides* as well! Diamonds all around!!

    14) What does your FI's ring look like?


     

    He likes his bling too ;) More expensive than mine was!!

    15) What are your favors?


     


    We love Ritter Sport! I know its "not OK" to do chocolate as favors but....Ritter Sports (especially the flavors in this pack) always remind us of our European adventures! Which ties in to the travel theme, without being too pricey!

    16) Are you having a guestbook or guestbook alternative?


     

    We did a fully customized large guest book from blurb.com. The inside has every other page blank, paired with a different photo of a landmark in a city that we took :) It's really frickin' cool, probably my favorite thing so far TBH! ;)

    17) What are your cake (or other type of dessert) flavors? 

    Cupcakes!!! We are doing mini-cupcakes...red velvet, strawberry lemonade, and white on white. Super delicious!

    18) What type of flowers do you want?

    I am doing white tulips. Tulips are my favorite, because they remind me of our favorite country: Netherlands! :)

    19) What is stressing you out the most about wedding planning?

    MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And making sure everything looks the way I want it :)

    20) What are you enjoying the most with wedding planning?

    Having it all finally almost be over, and starting the actual important part of all this: just being with my new hubby :D

    I'm surprised there were no questions about food! We are serving a full Greek menu (for no reason other than we were originally going to go to Athens/Istanbul as our honeymoon) and that its DELISH!!!! I'd be interested to know what y'all are doing too!
