'Weigh' In Wednesday

Nah, stay away from your scale... bad, bad scale.
Was thinking those of us trying to drop the pounds would write in about how the last week has been.
For myself, I worked out one evening. Ive pretty much been eating what I want and havent been very good *at all* about trying to do the right thing. However Wink I was on my period so thats as good of an excuse as any. Right? Also, living in the soggy Pacific NorthWest doesnt exactly spark a desire to get my butt outside. But at this rate, the chair-shaped ass I'm going to have on my wedding day is going to have my groom running for the hills... HAHA!
Here's hoping I do better over the next week!
How about the rest of you!?

Re: 'Weigh' In Wednesday

  • I'm finally able to breath normally after a horrible cough, so I'm back to working out next week.  I got lots of exercise this weekend with the snow we got in the northeast!
  • I've been doing pretty good. Overall want to drop 20 lbs by wedding. Down three so far. Been working out at least every other day. With 1 cheat meal in proportions here and there
  • I have to admit that I have been gaining and gaining and gaining for the past couple months.  I really can't blame it on anything other than I love to eat things that are not slimming.  And I had not been working out until I started up again by walking the inside tunnel of my building at work.  I should still be good for my dress at this point.  But I can't keep gaining and expect to fit into it when it's time.  FI and I love to cook and bake together really tasty things from scratch. We used to go out to eat a lot but now enjoy our own stuff much more.  My willpower and discipline have not been nearly as strong as when I was single and when we first got together.  Do you ladies also believe that being blissfully happy with your FI can contribute to weight gain i.e. love pounds?  A lot of times I'm actually full and I keep eating!!  I don't need to but I'll have a taste for something and off I go.  I frustrate myself by doing this.  Anyone else that has a hard time with their willpower?
