  aleighk1, may I ask what photog you're using?  That sounds like a great price and I haven't been able to find any photog in the GSO/W-S area for less than 2,000 all day.  Would appreciate it. 
  
  slpeters1088, my fiance and I plan to marry in our church, and haven't been able to find a venue so far that fits into our budget (which is about the same as yours).  So we're considering having a mid-day, early afternoon reception in the church's fellowship hall so we can at least have real food. So far, I haven't found any venue that I can afford in my budget because once I account for food I always end up in the 3500-4000 range and I am on a $5.000 budget for EVERYTHING, dress, cake, food, flowers, it all has to come in under $5,000.  But I think it can be done. So, I suggest looking into churches around town.

  also, if you're not opposed to kernersville, there are lots of neat places there like the Ciener Botanical Gardens, Harmon House, and Dewberry Farm.
