Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

Dress shopping off the beaten path and need your help:)

Hi everyone!

I live in Minnesota but just moved here a few years ago. I am getting married in Maine but I am buying my dress out here in MN. I tried on some dresses a few weeks ago in Maine and found a little local store and a really great dress for under 600.00.

Can anyone reccomend some dress stores that are family owned here in MN and have a low price point? I will not spend more than 1000.00 on a dress and I was hoping some one knew of some stores off the beaten path. Will travel!!

Thank you!!

Carrie Johnson Bridal in St Cloud is an AWESOME Bridal Shop - they have brand new Sample Dresses in one area they sell off the rack for SUPER cheap (both my sister and best friend bought their dresses for around $300) then they also have the regular bridal gowns that you can order! :)

I found my dress at Mary Kay's Bridal in St. Louis Park and they had many dresses at or below that price point.  Plus, I had a fantastic experience there.   HTH

Check out Raffine bridal in Stillwater. I had a great experience there and worked directly with the owner, who was really flexible and wonderful

I know it's not "off the beaten path" but I walked into a David's Bridal and out w/a $250 dress.

I got my dress from the Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul for $800.00. They have a large selection and great prices, you can even check out some of their options they have online! (They don't have everything online in their stores though) But they do have a huge selection!
