Good Morning- Less than one week to go!

Good Morning Ladies,

This is my final week. Holy Moly does it go fast, especially considering I had 19 month engagement. :)

This weekend was good. I had my final dress fitting, met with the florist again, met with our DJ (who is awesome) and continued to gather stuff up. I've been storing wedding items at my Moms house, so it will be easy when we go back on Thursday morning. My dress fitting went well, she is taking it up just a tad more and adding one more button to the bustle. Other than that, they are steaming it and I'll pick it up on Friday (AAAGGGHHH!!!) Other than that wedding stuff, I hung out with my nephews and played outside most of Saturday afternoon/evening. It was a lot of fun.

Items left to get done-
mail the rest of my shower thank yous
print cookie table description (ready to go, just needs print)
print table numbers (same thing, ready to go just needs print)
coordinate bridesmaids gifts
wax/nails
conference call with photog and venue
finalize rehearsal dinner numbers

That's about it. Wow. Crazy.

    Happy Wedding Week J!! so excited for you.

    GM, I stayed up late watching Obama's press conference and some of the coverage afterward.  I think it's good for the US that Osama was killed...but I have to say, I'm nervous about retaliation, esp because I leave the country in 3 weeks.

    J - sounds like it's all just details now!  When do you head to Pittsburgh?

    OMG J!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Can't believe your wedding is THIS WEEK!!!!!!!! omg I'm so happy for you and your FI and just know your day is going to be amazing! I can't wait to hear all about it and see pictures!

    As for me, I had a wonderful weekend (see AW separate post). Turns out I was right and my Philly shower was this weekend!! I had a ton of amazing surprises and just the best weekend!! I hope everyone has a fabulous day!!

    MD- I head to Pittsburgh on Thursday morning. I definitely agree about the retiliation.

    G- Yay!!! I'm so happy that you had a great shower. How did FI B-party go??? Is the wedding still on? :D

    JLB - I can't believe that your wedding is this week.  I am wearing my shoes today to break them in and get used to wearing them.  I am looking forward to everything that this week/weekend entails!!  Let me know if you need anything!!

    I'm just sad this weekend is over.  It's the most relaxing weekend I've had in a long time.  Looking forward to seeing my FI this Thursday.  He's flying in for Jamie's wedding this weekend.  Two celebrations in one for me!!

    J - LOL!! Yes, the wedding is still on! :P Hehe! He had a wonderful time with his guys! Friday they went to his parents beach house on Long Beach Island and he got a bit sick from too much drinking! ha! On Saturday they headed to AC, had dinner at the Palm, and gambled all night! I'm glad he had wonderful time :)

    md - yeah, I agree! I'm a bit worried about the response too. Not to mention, there are probably a million others ready to 'take over' his position so unfortunately I don't see it as an enormous feat. I'm glad he's gone, but I really don't think it will change much in the way of terrorism. Nice vindication for 911 yes, but I'm just afraid it will cause a million more problems for us.

    Hey Everyone!

    I actually had a better weekend than expected- my mom was well behaved on Sunday and the wedding ended up being pretty fun as my FI and I went out aftewards with a group of people (including my cousin, aunt and uncle) to a local irish bar with a live band. The knee hasn't really changed, but I was able to rest it this weekend which helped. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well tomorrow at the doctors :-)

    Jl- Yeeeaaaayyyy!!!! So glad to hear you have everything done basically. Now you can enjoy all the fruits of your labor and simply get married and celebrate!

    Md- I agree with you. Americans will be on high alert for a while after this. However, I think it is a relief after so many years of looking for him. I for one had given up hope of ever finding him.

    GMC- I'll go comment in your other post :-) Excited for you!

    Good morning!  I can't believe the weekend is over already!  Saturday I went to a wedding, and every time I go to a wedding, it just makes me so anxious and excited for my own!  Plus, it was in the middle of PA where I used to live, so I got to show off my old hometown to FI.  There were people at the wedding in sweat pants...he was like, I feel like that's a little country...and it is, but that area is very country (I had to pass hunter's safety to pass sixth grade), so what else would you expect?

    JL - I"m so excited for you!  I would be bouncing off the walls with excitment!

    MD - I hear you on the nerves...that's one of the first things I thought about...I'm so glad I'm not flying anytime soon.  You'll be fine though, and it'll be a great trip.

    G- read your other post.  It sounds like your weekend was so much fun!

    Sarah - hope the doc goes well!
