sandals and jamaica

Has anyone been to the Sandals Ocho Rios in Jamaica, or to any sandals?  I've heard lots of good things from an aunt and a friend, and we booked there last week. Just wondering what experiences others might have had there/with them :)

    I have personally stayed at Sandals Whitehouse and it was gorgeous and on the best beach in Jamaica IMO. And it's recently renovated as well! I have seen Sandals Negril and it needed some cosmetic work, like new paint job and little things like that but was still nice. When I visited it seemed like it had a fun party atmosphere going on. I wouldn't recommend Montego Bay, it's not as nice as the others at all.

    The staff at the properties is great, very accomodating and polite. I loved that they have a lounge at the airport (complete with red stripe to drink while waiting!), nice buses to bring you to the property and then when you arrive, they give you a drink and a nice cool towel for your neck.

    Sandals Properties are great and I think you'll have a blast!

    We went there for our HM and had a great time.  I though the service and food were both great, and we would go back there again in a heartbeat.   Somebody just recently posted a review on here about SGOR and I believe she mentioned they are doing some renovating as well

    We've been to Sandals Negril in Jamaica and Sandals Grande in St. Lucia. We've had a good experiance at both and can't wait to go for our third stay at a Sandals (Antigua) this coming March.

    I havent been yet but were staying at Ocho Rios. Ive heard amazing things! Do you have a travel agent? The agents at Liberty Travel has a special connection with Sandals and stay at each of them so they can tell their clients about it. Ours had nothing but great things to say.
