Kindred Oaks

Anyone know anything about Kindred Oaks for a venue?  Went to a wedding there several years ago and it was really nice.

They have open houses each month. My mom went to one. I don't live in the area. Outside venue  with a pavillion - my mother raved about the owner and staff. NIce and attentive. She was impressed and said it was really pretty. They have a good plan for cold (which I will need in the winter) with drop down plastic sides for the pavillion and heaters.

My brother got married ther 2 summers ago and it was HOT. the ceremony was nice and cool due to all the trees. the grass was very dead which kind of looked wierd. and then we moved under the pavillion for the reception. it was SO hot everyones faces were red. i can't rember if they had fans around if so i couldn't feel them. be sure to get plenty of bottled water if your doing a summer wedding we under estimated that and ran out. and surprisngly people went for the water before going for the iced tea. but that what happens when you have wedding completely outside in the summer in texas. lol

I've been out to view the venue twice recently,
Its amazing and the staff is more than friendly and helpful - They do have ceiling fans outside now, and are planning on installing a fireplace for the colder months.

My fiance and I loved the place, very laid back with a really inclusive package - we took my parents out and they loved it too, booked it! yay!
