Favors and Centerpieces

Hello All! So I'm gettin very frustrated with trying to get ideas for flower centerpieces.  I don't have a certain few flowers I like because truthfully I have never really "been into" flowers.  I was going to just let my mother pick something and go with it but in all of my internet searching ( I work midnights and need something to keep me awake) I saw a few different things that gave me an idea.  Now I am thinking about using vases/bubblebowls on the tables and filling them with the Lindor truffles I had planned to do in favor boxes and then having flower (rose?) petals all over the table to make up the pretty flower part and help fill in.  I know my mother's concern will be that there is nothing for people to take home because the truffles arent going to be in convenient boxes/bags but my thought is who really takes that home anyway? Most people eat that stuff before leaving right? Anyway what does everyone think? Yay or Nay?

Could you maybe put small mesh bags as the place settings so if someone wanted to take two or three home, they could?  If not, not really a big deal.

Otherwise, I like this.  They have lots of different flavors, which you could match the wrapper color to your wedding colors.  I say go for it!

I agree. Maybe put a little bag or box on the place setting with a note saying something like:  "Thank you for joining us; we are honored to have you here. Please feel free to take home as much as you would like."

Love it!  I think it'd be fine not to have any bags or boxes, but I agree that having them would be a nice touch. I also like the idea of the sign, although I can imagine some people getting carried away with the "as many as you like".... those things are addicting! :P

I think it is a great idea!! I know while I am sitting listening to the toast that I would eat some! I agree with the PP though, and that is have little baggies somewhere so they can take them home if they'd like.

Thanks For your input everyone! FI loves this idea also which is good because he enjoys being involved in every aspect.  I will def look into doing some sort of take home bag/box so people have the option, though they are addicting and IDK if there will be any left to take home :)
