Mission Inn & Spa- Perplexed

Calling anyone who has dealt with this venue or gotten married here!
My fiance and I are attending their Bridal Expo next month.
It looks absolutely stunning, and a gorgeous place for photos. My unease comes from the very large mix of reviews that I'm finding online. Some brides rate it 5 stars and loved everything about it, other people (consistently) report how the staff is very unresponsive, unorganized, and essentially create more stress and work for everyone involved. Gulp. 

 I'm wondering if you have ever heard anything/ what you have heard about this venue. Thank you!!

    I've never done an event there, but I have always heard mixed reviews over the years too.  I have had many brides who have opted to take picture there and get married somewhere else.  

    If you have your heart set on having your wedding there, negotiate a good contract for all of the elements that are important to you on the front end before you sign. Once you've signed your contract there is no obligation for the venue to give you anything extra once the "sales courtship" is over.
