FFF

I flame new posters who can't use the search feature or just scroll down the FIRST page of threads. I lurked and searched for MONTHS before my first post, as I didn't want to ask a dumb question that was already answered.
We just need a 'rustic barn venue' sticky at the top to save us all the headache.

Re: FFF

  • Haha, like anyone would read it.

To add to your flame, I flame people who can't read stickies, who have incredibly unrealistic expectations of just how far a dollar can be stretched, and who don't even bother to respond to the advice they're given.

I'm just worried that they're going to cut off our service or something if it doesn't get taken care of in the next month, because the fees are showing up as late fees, since they were "due" last month.

Last night H and I realized that we are totally the couple that scrolls through FB going 'UGH Stupid baby pictures! Stupid parents! No one wants to see that! WAIT, H, come over here, 'Bob' just posted another picture of 'Lulu' sitting on her dog bed, bahahahahaha.'

    We are so biased.

  • Thanks for asking Stitch! The interview went great! I thought I did very well but I still think I might be a little overqualified. I really liked the company culture and the people I interviewed with, plus the commute would be way shorter than my commute now, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Haha, did you see the "Sh*t Brides Say" video?  Every time someone comes on here looking for anything "rustic," "vintage," or "vintage chic," I imagine them saying it in the voice on that video.  =)

    SAME.

ETA: If it were that unique there would not be, like, 20 venues in the area that fit the description.
  • I still don't understand what rustic chic is..... If I can't imagine Tim Gunn saying it, then it doesn't deserve the word "chic" with it.

There was an article about the reasons people don't evacuate the other day, and a lot of it was about some people just not having the means to get out of town (or nowhere to go once they left), but it was hard to feel sympathetic for people who were just stubborn.

Well, naturally those folks have a legitimate excuse for not leaving. I was referring to those who were able to evacuate but chose not to. Fools that are gloating about it on facebook and the like don't get my sympathy, sorry I should have clarified.
