Morning Songs

I'm trying to come up with a fun playlist to have on while getting ready the day of our wedding with the girls.

Some of the ones I have so far are
Going to the Chapel
Today I met the Boy I'm Gonna Marry
And then he Kissed Me
Love on Top - Beyonce
I Do - Colby Caillat
Marry You - Bruno Mars

What are some of your other favorite fun, uplifting, lovey songs?

  • Learnalittlegivinanlovin-- Gotye (it's not 'romantic' perse, but it's about being happy and loving life)

But honestly, I'd probably want to shoot myself in the head if I had to listen to love songs for hours on end.

    It's a cute idea though.
  • Oh, here are some more from my reception playlist:

    Accidentally in Love-- Counting crows
Anyone Else But you-- Moldy Peaches
    I'm Yours- Jason Mraz
A Kiss to Build a Dream On-- Louis Armstrong
Sign, Sealed, Delivered,  (I'm Yours)- Stevie Wonder
    Steal my Kisses-- Ben Harper
    Strawberry Swing- Coldplay
    Sweetest Thing-- U2
Waking up in Vegas-- Katy Perry
    Wishin' and Hopin' Ani Difranco
You are the best thing-- Ray LaMontagne
You Don't Have to Believe me-- Eric Hutchinson
    Question- Old 97s
  • Those are good, thank you

This was my thought when I first read this.  <div>
</div><div>My girls just put together a bunch of fun songs, especially songs from the 90's boy bands that everyone knew.  </div><div>
</div><div>I think you could probably sprinkle some of those "wedding-centric" songs in with a mix of other things that aren't so in-your-face wedding.  It's a cute idea though!</div><div>

I'm feeling slightly negative today, so you'll have to forgive me.  I have the full reception playlist on my wedding stuff if you want to look at it.

Some more from my work playlist:

Our Day Will Come-- Amy Winehouse
I Would Do Anything For You- Foster the People
    L.O.V.E-- V.V. Brown
Put it in a love song-- Alicia Keys/Beyonce
My Life Would Suck without You- Kelly Clarkson
Beauty in the World-- Macy Gray
    That Girl-- Pharrell, Snoop
Raise your Glass-- Pink (this would be so fun!)
  • Well I certainly don't want my friends to shoot themselves in the heads. I just was trying to think of some fun songs to play the morning of. I asked about uplifting or fun too... not like I want to blast sappy music; just thinking of songs to get us pumped and happy and songs that everyone can sing along to.

Thanks for the suggestions snippy, that's along the lines of what I was hoping for.

My friend did a playlist for getting ready too, but instead of all love themed songs, she chose a few songs that were special for her and the different bridesmaids - still fun, but not all about love.
