The GM are all weaing black suits with ivory shirts and purple ties to match the BM. So i dont know what the ringbearer should where...he's 10 i cant make him buy a suit. So i was wondering if he should wear a rented tux ( whould that match the suits close enough) or should he wear black paints and a ivory shirt purple tie( which would match the ushers)???

    I think your second option sounds like a good one. He'll match the rest of the wedding party, but still be able to wear those clothes again some other time.

    my ringbearer is 3 and i'm having him rent a tux so that he matches everyone else....we are also having a 10 yo in our wedding and he is renting one as well.

    Our ring bearers are 3 so they are buying a kit from men's wharehouse.  Rental for a tux is the same as a regular tux and we couldn't ask anyone to spend that for their child to be in our wedding.  I think nice slacks and the shirt.  If you are still worried, you could gift him the tie in addition to whatever you were planning on getting him.
