room blocks at Omni Royal Orleans vs. Monteleone

All my wedding guests are from out of town.  We are reserving a block of rooms at a high end hotel and a less expensive hotel.

For the high end hotel, I'm trying to decide between Omni Royal Orleans and Hotel Monteleone.  I haven't stayed at either hotel.  Which one do you guys recommend for my guests and for me to get ready in with my bridesmaids (I'll be getting a large suite)?  I really want my guests to enjoy whatever hotel we choose.

Also, I'm leaning towards Dauphine Hotel for the less expensive option.  I've never stayed there and I've never even walked through the lobby - I'm OOT bride.  Thoughts?

If you really can't decide, do both.  I did!  That way, my guests could choose where they wanted to stay.  Both hotels (Monteleone and Omni) are awesome!  I don't know anything about Dauphine.

I agree that you should just go with both. Some people will like the historic charm of the Monteleone, others will prefer a more modern hotel. We have stayed at the Monteleone before and it is gorgeous. The Carousel bar in the lobby is a blast as well. We have a block there, as well as one at the Dauphine. The sales manager at the Dauphine is AMAZINGLY nice and helpful (Dawn Ledet), so much so that I would recommend it on her customer service alone. We are also doing blocks at the Ritz and the Inn on Bourbon for different price points/experiences. Hope that helps!
