Bachelorette Party in Dallas

I am helping plan my friends bachelorette party but am not too familiar with Dallas. Any suggestions on fun restaurants, bars or clubs we should plan to go to? I think we are wanting to stay close to downtown/uptown area. TIA

Victor Tangos is a great dinner place so is Kenichi and I think they turn into more of aclub atmosphere later in the night.
Fun clubs would be Ghost Bar, Candleroom, Rose Room (drag show/gay bar but so fun for bachelorette parties), PM Lounge is fun.

Dallas doesn't have tons of great dancing places but I've been to all the above and had a great time most of the time.

Kenichi, Ghost Bar, House of Blues....all of that is in Victory Park where the W hotel is.  My girls and I did that a couple of months ago just for fun and it worked perfectly.  Minimal cab fares, walking distance to most places, and safe for a big group of girls.  I wouldn't recommend downtown...not too safe and a little too touristy.  Have Fun!!!

If you want to stay towards uptown try out Candleroom, Tribeca or anything that is on McKinney Avenue for both the clubs and restaurants b/c there are tons!  I love Cubra Libre or in West Village there is a fabulous Sushi restaurant called The Fish that is cool.

If you go downtown you could eat at the Iron Cactus (mexican) and then walk downstairs to go to Mantus, both are very Modern type atmostpheres.

It all depends on what type of atmostphere or food you are looking for.  So many options.  I suggest to look on www.guidelive.com and look at the restaurants and under venues check out nightlife.  It will help you a lot!
