Mississauga reception venue - Old Barber House or Terrace on the Green

Hello,

Has anyone had a wedding reception at Old Barber House in Mississauga or Terrace on the Green in Brampton? My fiance and I would be interested in hearing about your experience.

thanks!

I went to a friend's engagement party at the Old Barber House. Nice place, good food but service was mediocre. This may have been because much of the groom's family was drunk and loud- I think the servers were annoyed :(

Terrace on the Green for sure.
We visited the Old Barber House and it wasn't very nice. The ceremony is in basically the parking lot. And you're reception in one of the rooms. It might have been nice if you only had the reception there. It's also small.

I was just at my cousin's wedding at Terrace on the Green. The ceremony was beautiful with a Gazebo, and lots of picture opps at the Waterfall, the lawn and a rock garden (if you want to call it that)

The food was really good as well (mmm chocolate mousse cake). The reception hall itself was intimate, and for about 150 people I don't think you could have fit more. The dance floor was small at that size.
The service was mediocre, and the waiters (we saw only 3 for the whole place) looked upset and wanted to kill everyone. They were also quite inappropriate going to the head table to serve cake, while the bride and groom were speaking.
If you pick here, think about logisitics. For some reason (I don' tknow who's call) we were not allowed inside the reception room during the 1.5-2 hr cocktail hour. The room for cocktails was small and standing room only.
Would have liked to go sit down if possible.

If you're picking between the two, Terrace on the Green for sure.
