Planning Frustration

Hey All,
I know I'm not the only one stressed with the planning right?? I am having such a hard time finding a site that is exactly (or even close for that matter) to our dream location. We want outdoors for the ceremony and somewhere up north since we are getting married in August and I am a budget bride. My FH is deployed currently so the planning is all mine. With all the snow this week the freeway is closed up North!! GRRRR! I just want to book a location and photographer then I can stop panicking (at least for a little while, right?)

Hello and welcome! First off, calm down, we are here to help you :-) Where up north are you interested in? What type of venue do you want? A friend of mine got married last July in Chino Valley (just outside Prescott) at a place called the Windmill House. I checked around Sedona, and with my budget it just doesn't seem possible. I had someone else recommend Chino Valley, I will check em out! As far as where, I am fine with anything cooler than Phoenix in August. I have looked in Payson, Prescott, Flagstaff and Sedona so far. As long as it is outdoors for the ceremony I'm not picky!

Hmmm.. You should look at Strawberry too then. It is such a PRETTY town I think there are a few older houses up there too that rent out wedding spaces.

Try not to get too overwhelmed. When you do, just step away from planning for a bit or jump on here and vent, ask, celebrate, etc. that's what this board is for

Thanks so much guys. I emailed several of the places you recommended. There will be about 60 guests at the wedding. Hopefully the weather improves up north so I can go check out some of these places after I get some info back from them!
