Wedding weather!!!

9 DAYS to go!!

I can see the predictive weather results for my wedding day on the 23rd! Mostly sunny with a high of 92 and a low of 72. Only a 10 percent chance of rain. Since I am getting married in the evening I am thinking it will be mid 80s for the ceremony. Woohoo! Looks like we will get to have our ceremony outdoors after all! We have a rain plan but an outdoor wedding would be sooo much nicer!

Have any of you checked out your wedding forecast yet?

85 and clear, 0% chance of rain.

  • I'm afraid to, my fianc keeps telling me not to bc it'll end up being another thing I'll become neurotic about before the wedding. Our wedding is mainly outdoors and rain will put quite the damper on our lawn games and cocktails hour. The actual reception is a sit down indoors but I really want that new England outdoor wedding feel which is very difficult to get from inside the inn. Lol

  • 85 and clear sounds awesome! Oh and I know what you mean about checking the weather. I checked it two days ago and it was suggesting my bachelorette party might get rained out but now it looks like only a small chance of rain. So I think the weather will be fine for my wedding festivites Thursday through Saturday of next week.
  • I have been waiting and waiting for the 10 day forecast, haha! Mine shows cloudy, 72* and 10% chance of rain. For Oregon in June I will take it! Its annoying though, all the days leading up to it are bright and sunny... go figure. It'll change about 10 times though. Maybe 20. Sadly I have an alert to tell me when they change.

  • I haven't even thought about checking! I've been too busy with everything else! Mine says cloudy with a 30% chance of rain at night. High of 87, low of 68. Not sure how to feel about it at this point! Could be worse I guess.

  • I can't check it yet since we're still 16 days out, but I'm hoping to not be neurotic about it. June in the South is unpredictable as is and it's pretty normal to have an afternoon thunderstorm. As long as I get to take my outdoor pictures, I'll be okay with whatever it is.

I also really don't want to have to add sides to our tent, but we will if necessary.
  • I've got access to a 14 day trend report, so I've been checking it twice a day for 4 days now haha. It's changed every.single.time I've looked at it, and our weather is reaaally unpredictable in my area so I'm not putting too much faith in their current prediction but as of now it's predicting ....

sunny with a few clouds, high of 25 celcius (77 F). Any hotter and I will likely sweat, so I'm happy with that!

  • Accuweather says Hot with occassional rain 90 degrees. No percentage of percipitation... ugh..
    Weather.com says Hi 81 Low 67 isolated t-storms - 30% chance of participation 7mph winds.
I will take 81....   They can keep the rain though :(  90 in New Jersey is a nightmare - that usually would include high humidity.  I pray that the cooling trend we are having stays for 10 more days (wedding in 9 days, but don't want to take any chances) LOL
It has changed since I looked 2 days ago :)
  • The forecast for my wedding is 98 degrees but we had always expected thst which is why we are having an indoor wedding.

  • I don't know what we were thinking, but our wedding is at 2pm in the south. They don't have a prediction for the 24th yet, but the 23rd it's High of 88 and 30% chance of rain.

<div>LOL I don't know why, but that made me laugh :) After this post I'm going to try to figure out how to set an alert too <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" /></div><div>
</div><div>My forecast so far for San Diego is 71 and partly cloudy. I'm hoping the cloudy part will clear up between now and then but 71 is great for SD. The days leading up to next Saturday are 64,65 type temps.</div>

You have an alert to tell you when the forecast changes?! OMG I need that! Lol

Right now mine is 85 and mostly cloudy 20% chance of rain.

  • My wedding is at 6:30 pm. So even though the high is 92 I imagine by 6:30 it ought to be in the mid to upper 80s. 85 would be nice. The humidity always seems to had to the heat. I am getting married in Natchez MS, btw.
