Hi Everyone!  I am so excited to join in the group . . .I just got engaged last night and I have been reading the local boards for quite some time!!  I cannot wait to start planning for our September wedding!!  First, I know I need to search for my gown, just in case I have to order it!  I have been reading so many nice comments on the stores in the bridal district.  I would love to get some feedback on your favorite stores to purchase from!  My budget is $1000 for everything...gown, veil, jewelry & shoes.  I, also, have no idea what kind of gown I am wanting!  I am going shopping on Thursday with my mom & bridesmaids, and hoping to find my dress that day!!  I can't wait to get some feedback from everyone!!!  Thank you, and I'm sure I am going to be on here alot :)

    Congratulations and good luck shopping this Thursday!!.  I got my dress at Bridal and Formal.  It is definately better to go during the week, they are less busy then.

    Congrats!!! I am getting married in September too! You def need to come check out the Sept 2012 board, the ladies over there are awesome! I would say make finding the venue the very first thing you do!

    Check out Yours Truly, Kelly and Something Borrowed, Something Blue both consignment shops in the Bridal District.  I also tried Wendy's and David's Bridal and had a better experience at David's.

    Thank you ladies!  I've already been to Davids...unfortunately, I did not get very good service :(  I thought while I was out today I would try the one in Kenwood.  It was also very overwhelming!  I am heading to the bridal district tomorrow with my mom...I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!  I will keep you all informed on where I get my dress :)
    Next on the agenda . . . photographer!  
    BTW...we are getting married in my grandparent's backyard, so we already have our venue :)

    I'm so excited for you! I had a great experience at Bridal and Formal (specifically with Ruth). I hear that they have some reserve gowns that could work within your budget.  Good luck and happy planning!!!

    Congrats! Hope you found your dress. If not check out Fabulous Bridal in Covington. I had a great experience and they will work within your budget. They also over 20% coupons as well.
