Flowers for step daughter?

My sons are walking me down the aisle and standing with me, my fiance is standing with his 2 sons and 8 year old daughter. The men will have bouts, should I get my new daughter a corsage, flowered head band or a simple bouquet? She's a girly girl but also 8 and will likely be running and playing later. She is also a "pleaser" and getting her to pick may be impossible.
Thanks!

Re: Flowers for step daughter?

  • I think a simple bouquet for her sounds lovely! That way it can be put to the side if she plays later, but is a very thoughtful gesture to make her feel special. Also, I think you can just decide what to give her and it can be a gift so she doesnt need to choose... if that is difficult for her.
  • I think the bouquet is an awesome idea and more "big girl".  I think the flower wreath is more of a small child thing.  She is old enough to take care of the flowers and can put them in a vase afterwards.
  • I think a bouquet would be lovely.
  • I vote mini bouquet. Let the florist know her height/size so they can make a bouquet that won't be too big for her, but it will make her feel special. She doesn't need to pick out the flowers. Just maybe come up with a plan for her in case she gets tired of holding flower during ceremony she can put them on the floor or hand them off to someone who will give them back for photos.
  • I also vote bouquet! Throw it in a vase for the reception when she's "running around" and you have more decor!
  • Bouquet it is!, thank you!
