Hello Everyone, I am in need of some help. I am looking for an affordable venue for my July 2013 wedding and I am drawing a blank. My fiance and I are on a tight budget and everyone I look is over our budget. Any ideas???

    I must be the poster child for restaurant weddings. Look into restaurants. Also, have you thought of having it at a park and having family bring the food? Matheson Hammock offers a beautiful back drop to this kind of scenario.

    I found this venue, its in Davie, FL off griffin road, it cost for host a wedding only 1,500 dollars and you bring your own caterer, they have an inside for the reception and outside for the ceremony under the tiki hunt where you can also have the cocktail hour there.

    Try the Shane center, they are affordable, and the venue is a blank canvas so you can do whatever you want with it. It's also on the intercoastal I think.

    Check out the Miami Springs Country Club and Killian Green in Kendall. Many other knotties have used Killian and its budget friendly. Good luck!

    Tight budget but you want great food?  Bimini Boatyard in Fort Lauderdale.  The party room holds 80 people, max, decorates like a dream and has a beautiful view.  No way would anybody ever believe their reasonable prices once they've eaten the food.
