Cupcake Tree Wedding Cake

I am considering a Cupcake Tree Wedding Cake. I would like a top tier so we can freeze it. Is anyone having a cupcake tree wedding cake?

I was thinking of  doing this...and after tasting a couple cupcakes at Kupcake Factory, I'm wholeheartedly convinced!

Nolabride in DC, I love that cupcake tree! Chigirl, I am not going to Nola until Aug 28th but I plan to stop in on Kupcake factory. Their cupcakes look great. BTW, I have read some of your posts how did your trip to Nola go. I think I read you were also using Sabree Hil for Photography and Josh from Prodigy Group?

Kupcake Factory is the way to go if you ask me! i worked in downtown new orleans for the past 2 years and frequented their CBD location but it closed right before i moved to DC. I cant wait to eat one on my trip in september!

It went well! I'd already booked the Wax so I was anxious to see it in person and I was so happy with it!! I'm still trying to figure out where to have the ceremony - I could have it there but I'm really looking for a courtyard.

The St Louis hotel has a great one with a (free) retractable tent; unfortunately, they're already booked. I wanted to check out the Hermann-Grima house, but they're closed on Saturdays throughout July and August. I went to the Museum of Pharmacy, but I didn't care for the courtyard or the lady who worked there. She didn't take out her iPod earphones the entire time she was talking to us, and she wouldn't let the members of my group (there were 6, since we were on our way to lunch) stand in the lobby while my fiance and I checked out the courtyard. She said everyone had to pay admission or stand outside in the 90 degree heat! I mean, c'mon, we weren't trying to scam a free museum visit out of the place and it's just the lobby, sheesh.  Just kind of left a bad taste in my mouth for the place. So, still looking for a ceremony spot but we make just make it easy on ourselves and go with the Wax for ceremony too.

I visited a caterer, Benedict's Plantation, across the lake. I got lost and got there 30 minutes late but Shirley is extremely nice about everything. She's gracious, cooks well, and her prices are good; considering she works with the Wax quite often, we'll probably wind up using Benedicts.

We did visit the Kupcake Factory afterwards and loved it! I'm definitely getting cupcakes from them. I usually hate icing and was a little worried when I saw a good inch of icing on each one but it was so good!

The rest of the time was spent hanging out with my family - now that I live in Chicago, I don't see them as much. So we ate, drank and danced the weekend away. So looking forward to getting married there :)

Great! She's editing and photoshopping them and will get them to us in a week. She was nice and professional and had a ton of great ideas/locations scouted out. Given the fact that they were free, I'm very happy already.
