need OUTDOOR venue in DC

i am literally going crazy... if i HAVE to get married in DC, which is the case... i need slash want to get married outside or by the water. I really dislike a lot of the hotels in the area, and we're not very "city like" as a couple.

Does anyone have any suggestions for us? We just want to be by some type of water... or be outside with a tent!

You can have a wedding at one of several federal memorial sites for only $50. Information can be found here and here.

You could also consider Rock Creek Park. Information is here.

If you want to have an indoor reception and don't like hotels, you might consider the Equality Center, a meeting and event space available for rent from the Human Rights Campaign.
