Seamstress Rec

Hi ladies,

My mom will be picking up her dress soon, and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a seamstress.  I think she got the dress at Bride Beautiful, but she's not sure if she wants the alterations done there.  Anyone have experience with them and know whether they do a good job and are a reasonable price?

Otherwise, I'd love to her recs for seamstresses or places to get alterations in the Atlanta, Decatur, Lithonia and/or Stone Mountain areas.  Thanks!

    When I was in my friend's wedding I used a place that was recommended by another friend who was also in the bridal party. It's actually a little dry cleaners in Smyrna that also does alterations. I definitely would not have picked this place if it wasn't highly recommended by my friend as it didn't look too fancy. They did the alterations on both of our dresses and it was absolutely perfect (and my friend was 6 months pregnant). I was so pleased and got so many compliments on my dress. Since then I have gone back and had several cocktail/party dresses altered to fit (I'm in between sizes so nothing ever fits right). I don't remember the name and I doubt they have a website, but it is in the Best Buy shopping plaza in Smyrna (1 mile north of Cumberland Mall on Cobb Pkwy).
