HELP!! Brigalias or Aulettos??

Hello Everyone!!!
I am torn between Brigalias and Aulettos! (well leaning more toward Brigalias)

I wanted to see if anyone out there has ever had their ceremony/reception at either of these two venues.

I have already booked the bigger room at Brigalias (says it holds up to 300).  We are also having our ceremony there.  Since we just signed the contract, we have 7 days to cancel if we decide to go to Aulettos.

Brigalias Issues-We are having about 200-250.  For those of you who have had or went to a wedding at Brigalias, do you think 200-250 will feel cramped in the bigger room.  Also, how is their food AND service?  (We are having our tasting on Thursday 3/10).  As far as those issues I LOVE Brigalias and think the inside and outside are beautiful!!

Aulettos Issues-The reason we would have it at Aulettos is because my fiances family has been doing business with the owner for over 40 years and they have many family/business functions here.  My concern is that every family function (fiance side) is at Aulettos.  I would like to have it somewhere different, since everything is at Aulettos.  Personally, I do not care for their food.  Also, compared to Brigalias, Aulettos decor is very dated and not as pretty as Brigalias.

So, if anyone is out there that has had a wedding or been to a wedding at either Brigalias or Aulettos, PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks!!

This was my exact thought when I read the title of your post.  We looked at both of these and liked Brigalias a lot more.  I have been to Auletto's and agree that the food isn't the best. I have not been to Brigalias - but would choose it over Auletto's.

I went to a wedding at Brigalia's last June and it was nice. We were in a smaller room, but the food was good and service was good. I thought the decor was appropriate and clean.

My one complaint overall was that the ceremony was on the side of the building and you could hear traffic more than the vows. Also, people were driving by and screaming out the window.

I didn't even bother to look at Auletto's because the photos looked dated, like you said.

I agree with the decor being dated at Aulettos... And your wedding should be special and not at the same place as all the family funtions... follow your heart and you will make the right decision!

Either way, it is the best day of your life!  <3

    Best of luck!

I say have it where you like. Dont have it some place just because they do business together. Choose the one that you and FI like better.

I heard bad things about the food for big events at Scotland Run when I was starting to look.

From a photographer's point of view it's a toss up between Brigalias and Scotland Run.  With that many people Brigalias may be a little tight.

Help, I was searching a few places also.. The Brigalias.. is the one I think we are taking.. I have been away. so i have not had to call them. but i saw this site and thought i would ask. Since the travel training I am presently doing gives me freedom in the evenings like 11pm.... So enough about me. the Brigalias,, My daughter said they have a waiver that must be signed NO ONE UNDER AGE 21??? is that possible or is that choice.. I do not intend on young ones drinking but my concern is for the 20 nearly 21 and a few like this.. Is this waiver for the entire building any room, all the rooms?? or did she mis-understand. The wedding is there so the 21 and under must leave before the reception?? just confused and i want to make sense when i do get to make the call to confirm..
    thank youSurprised

To Sunny2day:  I just booked at Brigalias.  I specifically asked about the under 21 as I have 2 attending my wedding.  (Sometimes reception halls will give a no alcohol discount to under 21 adults.)  They do allow under 21 years olds, but no discount is given for them.  They also allow children and will prepare chicken tenders & fries for them instead of the entrees you choose, if they are picky eaters - mine are!

I have only heard wonderful things about Brigalias food & service.  It was luck that we found Brigalias.  My mom's dentist's receptionist told us about it!  Otherwise, we would have no idea it was even there!
