Creative City Venue

Hi, everyone! My fiance and I just got engaged and we're planning to tie the knot in June or July of 2011 in Baltimore. We're hoping for an indoor venue for about 100 for a seated meal with a dance floor. Our budget is very limited and we're hoping to find a space for about $1500 - $2500. I know that venues in the city tend to be more expensive, but we're city dwellers and would really prefer to keep the wedding centrally located. We're looking for something with an urban vibe and we're open to a space that's not your typical wedding site (restaurants welcome!) in order to keep things cheaper. We're already considering AVAM, BMI, the Science Center, and the Zoo but they're all a little pricey. Any ideas for an off-the-beaten-path wedding venue?

I wanted add the Hippodrome Theater to the list. We got married there and loved it!! They have a few different spaces that can fit different budgets...and the food is spectacular!!

Look into Pisces at the Hyatt. We weren't charged a room fee, it was all just included in our per person price. It's not cheap, but depending on the promotion and the options that you choose you might be able to work it into your budget. We wanted a city vibe too and definitely got it there, the view at night is unreal.
