So I just got off the phone with my new DJ!
He had done several weddings and parties and is very professional. He is also my God-uncle's son-in-law. I've been asking my God uncle for the longest to give me his contact info so I can get in touch with him and get his contract and all that jazz. Well I finally got the info tonight and called him up and I'm so excited. He kept telling me it's my day and he'd play whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. If I wanted to do cartwheel and flip unto the dancefloor he'd play the music and sound effects for that lol!. I told him that I wanted dance music but nothing too crazy that's been played on the radio (lots of little kids and older crowd will be at my wedding) and he laughed and said he doesn't even do that nowadays. Now that he has a family and kids he's eased away from that type of music (no offense to anyone who likes that music--he used to be in a hardcore rap group) Anywho I asked about his fee and contract and he said, "I'll send you the contract if you want to see it but the fee-ahh don't worry about it--That's dad. I'm doing this for dad. I just want you to enjoy your day!
" I'm so excited!
Oh and I got my first batch of invites into the mail today--all of Fiance's out of town family. Now to sit back and play the rsvp waiting game.
