Looking for an Alcohol Vendor (bringing in your own to your venue)

It looks like a BIG money saver is finding a venue that lets you purchase and bring in your own alcohol.  Anyone done this?  If so, who did you purchase the alcohol from?  How much were you quoted (my guestlist is 100)?  Did your caterer provide glassware and a bartender?  I'm thinking of doing only beer and wine, anyone get a price quote on this?  Thanks!

You would probably want to find a venue that allows you to bring in any vendor, and a caterer who will provide bar set-up but allow you to bring your own alcohol (without charging a corkage fee).  My venue and caterer both would apply.

Venue allows you to bring in your own alcohol and my caterer is setting up the bar and providing barware.  They are not charging me a corkage fee.  They have been a dream to work with.  They provided me a chart of how much to purchase for my guestlist count.  We've budgeted for $1000 worth of alcohol but since your guest count is about 60 people less then mine and you're only doing beer and wine you could cut that by maybe 3 to 4 hundred.  We've priced the alcohol from Costco but may go to BJ's in DE since we often drive down to visit family.  Good luck and happy planning.

I'm also using Basikneads and the church hall.  That caterer is awesome!  We're paying $1 per person for them to provide ice and paying hourly for a bartender (we're also renting glassware but not sure about the price there).

We just shopped around in the 4 different states where we have family and found one little liquor store in Frederick MD with the best prices.  We bought about $400 worth of hard liquor for approx. 80 people.  We also have I think 3 cases of white, 3 cases of red, one case of champagne, and we haven't purchased the beer yet.
