SHOE DYING

I would like to have hot pink shoes for the wedding.  Anyone know where to have this done if you buy your shoes at a store or have any of you tried ordering them somewhere already dyed?  I'm not trying to match a specific color (ie. bridesmaid dresses), just a hot pink.  Any recommendations?

Thank you!!

I just bought a pair of dyable Jimmy Choos and they work with one specific shoe service for dying in Chicago.  Thier name is Brooks Shoe Service (www.brooksshoeservice.com or 312-372-2504). They are in the loop.  I haven't been there yet but thought I'd pass along the recommendation! Hope that helps!

Brooks dyed my wedding shoes (from white to royal blue) and they did a great job!  Took about 2 weeks and was around $35.  I think I may go back after the wedding and have my shoes dyed black (so I can get more use out of them).  :)

David's bridal will dye their shoes for $5. I've heard really good things about Wedding Etc in Downer's Grove.

Believe it or not I have great luck with UnforgettableMoments.com (part of Payless Shoes). Wait for their 20% off coupons (which you usually get for signing up for the e-mail list) and dying and shipping are free.

I've been wearing my heels to break them in before the wedding and they are actually pretty comfortable.

I would recommend stopping by a Payless store to look at the color swatches in person to see if it's the right hot pink for you.

They have 60+ colors and I've ordered from Unforgettable Moments twice and both times it was less than 7 days from ordering to delivery.
