DeKoven Center/Riviera/any sugguestions

I know I already asked about Veterans Terrace, but they were WAY to expensive, so my FI and I are now looking at some new venues and want to know if any of you ladies have ever been to a wedding at these locations, or looked at them. We are looking at the DeKoven Center as our main option right now. Maybe the Riviera in Lake Geneva ( I went there once in High school and have a picture of the Angel on the Fountain) and it looks amazing, I'm just afraid with how pretty and amazing it looks that it will come with a hefty price tag. Any advice will be helpful. We are really trying to stick with our caterer because their price for the food and cake is an amazing price we cannot pass up. TIA!!

I am using the DeKoven Center for my August wedding. It is beautiful and fairly inexensive! The lady who manages the rentals is a little flakey, but shes very nice and we have always gotten great service. Highly reccomend it so far!
*edited to add-- You can bring in any caterer and they have a newly remodeled kitchen

I have shot in in Lake Geneva and the Riviera is stunning. The Dekoven center is beautiful (great architecture), however, the waster water treatment plant is LITERALLY across the street and depending on the way the breeze is blowing, it can smell terrible.

Another thing I was wondering about the place is the bar. Do you have to supply your own bartenders or do thay have their own bartenders?

If you're looking at Dekoven are you open to other racine venues? Masonic center in Racine allows you to bring in your own caterer and they're just down the road from Dekoven. They also supply the bartenders. I can provide more info if you want...

We toured Dekoven--ended up not using it because they require you to book a backup site if you want to do your wedding outside there and will not allow you to use a judge. Also, the reception area was very cool but just a strange setup and my mom was concerned that the dancefloor which is up a small step, would lead to injuries!! Grounds are beautiful and chapel is beautiful though

It'd be awesome for more informatoin about the Masonic Center in Racine. We are trying to use Gooseberries out of Burlington for our catering company since we can't find another place with their prices. If you can, give me as much information about the place as you can that'd be awesome. We are hoping to tour DeKoven Center one of these days to see what it looks like. The grounds look nice, but I am afraid that with it looking so nice there's going to be something else wrong or something. Thank you for anything you can give me!!!

Check out Fohr's Catering or Danny's Meats.  We used Danny's for our RD and they were AWESOME!
