  I checked that place out, but ended up going with a different venue. The place was okay.... but a little "run-down" as the manager himself put it. It sounds like they are trying to make a lot of updates, but until they do, I wasn't comfortable with it. However- I visited back in October, there may have been some changes since then!
  
  Also- Not in the best part of town, if you are concerned about that at all!

  Thanks for the info! If you don't mind me asking, who did you end up going with? I knew The Grove was inexpensive, so my expectations weren't super high. I'm just looking for somewhere on the inexpensive side (not TOO cheap though) that is nice!!

  Ashley- I went with Mariner's Inn (their "North" location in West Chester). It's an overall small venue, and you will be the only wedding there if you book, which I liked. They can hold up to 275 I think, but might want to double check that if you're interested. They are relatively affordable too, food is delicious, manager is super laid back and easy to work with, etc.
