Today is my first dress fitting. My mom is paying for my dress and has been there all along the way to make sure I get exactly what I want.

Well, she lives an hour out of town, and today it's snowing super bad. I'm so scared she won't make it out. I don't know if I can go alone. :(

    When is your appt?  Maybe this afternoon the snow will stop so she xcan make it :)

    Maybe you can reschedule it for tomorrow or Monday if it gets too bad.  I'm sure they will understand due to weather.  I know what you mean having your mom there.  My mom has been with me through it all so it would be hard to not have her there for my fitting.  Things have a way of working themselves out and like pp said, give it a little time to slow down and maybe it will be better later this afternoon.

    I know that can be really sad if she can't make it but you can totally take on this fitting by yourself! I'm sure you are super excited to see your dress. Plus you will have more than one fitting and I'm sure she'll make the next one.

    I'm sure you can go on your own! I had to go to my fitting and final fitting by myself. It definitely wasn't my preference but all the girls at the shop were so sweet and made it a lot of fun anyway.

    Aww, sorry hun! Perhaps it will clear up in time or can you reschedule for this week? If not, I'm sure you'll be fine going alone..or even better, can a friend go with you? I think I'd be okay to go on my own, but SO much happier if one of my girls could go with me.

    I had my mom with me when I bought out the dress and when I picked it back up. However, my girls went with me to my first fitting and will be with my next weekend when I pick up the dress.

    We rescheduled for Monday so it might actually be better. It just turned out that were both off on Monday! Thanks for all of the well wishes.
