So Im getting married in a catholic church and I live with my fiance and I dont know if they will marry us if we live together. Does anyone know anything about this??

    It would be a good idea to set up a meeting for you and your FI to talk with your priest.  Explain that you are newly engaged and that you would like to get married at the church and go over what is required.  Also have some dates in mind and they can tell you if the date is open/holiday restrictions.  Every parish is different; some will some won't.  And the requirements for getting married in the church are different at each parish.  But that meeting will get you on the right track.

    We are getting married on the west side and our church knows we are living together. They made it very clear they don't agree but hey, it's life. No problems!

    We just got married and when we met with our priest we told him we lived together. like the pp he wasn't happy about it, but he still let us get married! good luck!

    im getting married at st. vincent and we live together and are having a catholic wedding also. We had no problems. But with most catholic wedding you will have to do marrage retreats and what not

    I am also getting married in a catholic church and living with my fiance.  Th priest appreciated my honesty.  He wasn't happy about it, but he still agreed to marry us.  But it really depends on the priest.  There are some priests out there who are really strict about that.

    Those of you who lived with your fiance before your wedding and got married in a Catholic Church, can you PLEASE tell me which church you were married in?  I am also finding trouble here and could use the help!
