We met on September 23, 2005. Seven years later we wanted to celebrate on the Oregon coast so we booked an ocean front hotel room in Lincoln City.
On the drive up we were going through wine country so he surprised me with a trip to two of our favorite wineries where we bought a Pinot Gris from Lange's Winery and a Pinot Noir from the Red Barn - Maresh.
We had lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the beach and ended up spending the rest of the day at the beach. We decided instead of going out to dinner we should buy wood for a campfire and food for an antipasto plate and watch the sunset. That's exactly what we did. I found out later that he was waiting until the exact time we met seven years ago to propose. Neither one of us really could agree on what time that was but earlier in the day I said let's just say 9pm. He proposed at 8:30. He said he couldn't wait any longer! The whole day was perfect! One of the best days of my life and completely shocked he finally did it. Check out a few of the pics below.
